24 Apr 2007 - Reviewing the Vision
There was a fantastic response from parents to the 'visions' letter (attached) who have made diverse and thought-provoking suggestions with regard to words that should be included in our new vision statement. Many words appeared in more than a few lists - the most popular being 'happy', 'commitment/committed' and 'enjoyment'. I have therefore tried to list all the words in one way or another (see the attached word list below).
The School's next task is to categorise these words into areas such as those that refer to pupil's attitude to learning, development of their social skills, the provision the school will make and the future.
As promised when the task is initially completed I will circulate it again for your comments and review.
